Water Taps
There is a water point situated by the field. It is mains water for drinking water only, please do not rinse chemical toilets directly from these taps. For hygiene reasons please collect all waste water and dispose of it in the waste disposal point.
Chemical Disposal Point
This is in the small brick enclosure on the corner of the main field and is clearly marked. We would appreciate your washing the disposal point down with the hosepipe provided when you have finished using it. PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR DRAINS DO NOT COPE WITH ANY TOILET FLUID THAT CONTAINS FORMALDEHYDE THEREFORE PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ONLY USE ORGANIC, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY FLUIDS IN YOUR TOILET.
Facilities
Each pitch has an 16 amp mains hookup. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT HAVE WIFI, TOILETS OR SHOWERS ON SITE. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OWN TOILET FACILITIES.
Hardstanding Pitches
We have some hardstanding pitches in case of wet weather, some of which are plastic grids on the field. We can inform you if there is one of these available when you book if required.
Waste Disposal
We operate recycling on site. There is a bin for dry mixed recycling, another for general waste and another for glass, these are all emptied weekly. Please note the signs on each bin which tells you what can be put inside them. Please could you ensure that bottle tops are removed and recycling is rinsed before putting in the bins. We would really appreciate everyone doing their bit!
Dogs
Dogs are welcome providing they are well behaved and controlled and you clear up after them. Please do not leave them in a hot vehicle or if they are going to bark and disturb others on site. Please do not let your dogs chase or be a nuisance to our resident peacocks and geese. There are 3 public footpaths that are suitable for dog walking. 1. Left out of the gate and on the left-hand side just the other side of the steak house. 2. Left out of the gate and on the right-hand side just before the Church. 3. Right out of the gate and on the left-hand side by the riding school. This path leads you to the local country park. There are no dog walking areas on the farm. Foxes frequently soil in this area so please let us know if there is a problem. Please do not feed the farm dogs.
Fires
We DO NOT allow bonfires or campfires on site. Small barbeques are allowed but must be kept off the ground so that the grass does not get scorched. Please do not put your barbeque on the picnic table as this will scorch it. Please make sure any ashes disposed of in the bins are completely cold prior to disposal.

Safety
There is an unfenced pond in the farmyard – the water is deep. Please ensure children or vulnerable people are observed at all times. The free range peafowl and geese on the farm can be territorial at certain times of the year.
Gates
There is an automatic gate at the farm entrance, and this will open and close when the beam is broken. Please do not try to open this gate manually.
Payment of Fees
All site fees are inclusive of electricity, water and chemical disposal and are due to us by cash if at all possible. There are envelopes for this purpose above the water tap. Please then put your envelope in the red post box which is clearly marked. We do not accept cheques but if you wish to pay by bank transfer please ask for our details.
Wet Weather
If the weather is wet prior to your arrival please call us if you have not booked a hardstanding pitch so that we can arrange a suitable location for you. We would appreciate you not driving onto a waterlogged field and getting stuck which causes problems for both you and us! We thank you for your consideration with this.
Arrival & Departure Time
Please arrive on site after 12 noon and leave before 12 noon to allow for other campers using the same pitch on your arrival and departure day. We will endeavour to give you your pitch number prior to your arrival.
Roads and local footpaths
Our site is on a road with street lighting and a narrow pavement and is approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Newbury Park tube station on the central line. The pavement also leads to local footpaths with dog walking facilities.
We do not live on site and are on site infrequently. Everything should be self-explanatory and clear but if you are not sure please call us on 020 3540 6565 and we will do our best to help you. Please do NOT go to the house in the yard as the lady who lives there has dementia and will get confused.
Directions
If travelling from the M25, you can get to us from either Junction 27 or Junction 28.
Fork left at the bottom of the M11 (A12, London East, The City). Turn left onto A12 (Chelmsford, Southend). In 1 mile at roundabout continue on A12 , half a mile past Newbury Park Underground station turn left at traffic lights into Aldborough Road North. In half a mile turn right just past Miller & Carter restaurant into farm entrance. Sites are on left through archway or on right as shown on map on this site.
